Thank you for all of you who participated in our Summer of Sock event all summer… we enjoyed bringing in new yarn lines that created such a buzz, and seeing the amazing socks and other items that you all created during the hot hot months of summer 2015!
We have some lovely prizes to share from a few of our sponsor yarns who were kind enough to donate some prizes!
SUMMER OF SOCK CONTEST: We have two winners drawn from all the entries of socks knit over the summer… congratulations to Simone B. and Genesis H. for your beautiful creations! You each win a skein of yarn from one of our sponsored sock yarns!
BLOG SIGN UP WINNER: We wanted to thank everyone on our blog list so we picked a name randomly of everyone who signed up this summer and previously. Winner of our blog email sign ups is Mary L. You also win a skein of yarn from one of our sponsored yarns!
PURPLE HAT KNITTING: We chose a name from a purple hat of all the people who participated in our Purple Crying Charity Knitting event on Sept. 27th… Jennifer won herself a pair of tickets to Knit City at the start of October.
SOCK SNIPER PARTICIPANTS: Thank you to all who signed up to join us in participating in this year’s Sock Sniper contest… it is STILL going on, but we are down to only a handful of participants worldwide, one of which is from the Lower Mainland!!! I’m happy to present a skein of yarn hand-dyed and donated by one of our regulars, Cait, as a prize drawn randomly from these participants… our winner of this skein is Cheryl!
SOCK SNIPER LAST LOCAL KNITTER STANDING: Two months into the contest, and we still have one of our participants alive and standing in the Ravelry group Sock Sniper 2015 event: Dawne from Delta! Congrats to as a first timer to the game and I am thrilled to present you with a $20 gift certificate to Baaad Anna’s that you could pick up and use by Dec. 31st of this year!

Do you stock the blue yarn bowl/mug from October 2015 Sock contest, the picture on your blog.
Unfortunately the company that made these no longer produces yarn bowls. I am searching for a replacement and will post as soon as I succeed. Thank you for your inquiry.
