***Still time to register for these two great classes*****
Felted Play Foods – Sushi
When: Saturday, November 27th
Time: 12 – 2pm
Instructor: Kirsten Zerbini
Play food is a great thing to have in the playroom, but why get the plastic stuff? Felted wool can be sculpted to any shape you like, and you’ll get toys that are warm to the touch, durable, non-toxic, and beautiful. In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the basics of needle felting and make a few pieces of play food sushi to take home.
This workshop is intended for adults, but children from 8-12 are welcome if accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class (those 13 and up do not need to be accompanied). Each participant pays for the workshop separately, but may share materials and tools if they wish. You will need to have rubber gloves, a needle felting tool, and a needle felting mat (the latter two available from the store).
Materials needed: a Needle felter and a felting mat.
