At this weekend’s Woolith Fair yarn crawl, we are please to bring the work of another young local designer to the store. Caitlin Sheperd of pluckypigeonknits is a super-talented designer of kids and adult garments. She will be hosting a Trunk Show at Baaad Anna’s from 11am to 4pm this Saturday April 28th.

She brings together locally-inspired fair-isle elements with wonderfully East Van-symbolic pigeons and bicycles, or enhances classic rustic garments a touch of delicate lace.

With her inspiration to design coming from what she herself would like to create for her loved ones, her creations hold elements of tenderness and keepsake. And Caitlin is hoping to launch a few new patterns at this weekend’s show! Come by to check out some knit-up versions of her designs, pick up hard-copies of the patterns and let our staff help you pair up her design with the perfect yarn!
