Every week, there are knit groups that you can take part in. We recommend checking out Froggers and Knit1Tea 1 groups on Meet Up to get the latest on dates and times for their upcoming get togethers.

Lisa has been hosting Froggers Meet Ups in the Burnaby/Vancouver for many years and even if you haven’t had a chance to attend one in person yet this is the perfect time to join in. Sign up to the Froggers group on Meetup to receive the password to this event.

Rebecca Glazier has been hosting Knit1Tea1 Meet Ups in New Westminster and Vancouver this past year. These virtual meet ups are free of charge, but you need to sign up to the Knit1Tea1 group on Meetup to receive the password to the events.

E = Edmonds Park – Outdoors. Meet near the trees next to tennis courts on Elwell Street side

C = Confederation Park – Outdoors. Meet behind McGill Library between the pool and parking lot.

F = Fraser Foreshore Park – Outdoors. Meet east of washrooms and children’s playground

All locations have access to washrooms. Confederation Park has shelter under the library in case of rain.

NOTE ABOUT WEATHER: Please use your own discretion as to outdoor air temperature and air quality in deciding whether to attend outdoor meetings and remember to bring your choice of sun protection and non-caffeinated beverage to stay hydrated on hot days. Outdoor meetings will be considered cancelled if outdoor air temperature is below 15º C.

Join the weekly Zoom meetings on Fridays from 7:30p to 9:30p.  Please sign in by 7:45p because, if only a couple people sign in, they may decide to leave the meeting early.  Since this is the free version, just sign in again when it shuts down after the first 40 minutes if some of you would like to continue.
