We’ve got a very special guest coming to the shop, and if you’ve been around our fibre community for a while, this one’s going to feel extra meaningful.

On Friday, June 20th, we are beyond thrilled to host our first ever in-person pop-up with Fireweed Fibre Co. a small indie dye company whose luminous, deeply saturated colourways have become a staple on our shelves and in many of your stashes.

This is a partnership years in the making. We were actually the second-ever store to carry Fireweed’s yarn, and even with that long-standing connection, we’ve never had the chance to meet in person. Isn’t that wild? Because when Fireweed hits the road for fibre shows, they don’t usually get to spend much time out west. Which is why this visit, and this pop-up, means so much.

But that’s not all. Fireweed isn’t just coming out to see us, they’re stopping by on their honeymoon road trip on a 3-week Western Canadian adventure.

We’re honoured to be a part of their journey and excited to bring their yarns, stories, and infectious creative spirit into the shop for one unforgettable day.

You’ll be able to explore a full display of Fireweed’s vibrant hand-dyed yarns, chat with Erin, and learn about the inspiration and process behind their colours. Whether you’ve admired their work online or already have a few beloved skeins in your collection, this is a rare chance to connect with the maker in real life and help us give them the warmest West Coast welcome.
