OUR TEAM

Paula Lindner – owner

Paula took ownership from Anna in April 2015 and has been in knit heaven ever since! Having knit for over ten years learning from friends and family, she values the community that comes with this skill set. Building on the amazing foundation that Anna laid, Paula aims to continue the creation of a space where people could come together and learn from each other, and have a sense of community while crafting, creating and conspiring!

Paula bikes from the Renfrew Heights neighbourhood just up the street from the store, raising two little humans and two mischievous cats alongside a very patient and supportive partner.

Sarah L. – store manager

Sarah joined Baaad Anna’s in summer 2015 and soon after became the store manager. Sarah is a knitter, crocheter, crafter and gamer. Cool fact about Sarah: she merges those worlds by knitting large scale blankets for charities that support putting toys and games in hospitals for sick children around the world. Her blankets, that feature characters from Zelda, Portal and D&D, have raised over $22,000 in the past five years. When not at the store Sarah can be found knitting at pubs and causing trouble with her sister, husband and cat.

Cheryl K. – eCom coordinator

Cheryl swooped onto the Baaad Anna’s team in May 2017 to help launch the new online store. A background in IT comes in handy resulting in a very happy merger of both her techie and crafty sides. When not in front of her computer, she is knitting, crocheting, sewing, weaving, and in general neglecting house chores, husband, teenage daughter, and their cat Lily. Cheryl looks forward to assisting you in person and online.

Nadia K. – retail

Nadia joined us in September 2020 and keeps the shop looking amazing.

Laura W. – seasonal

Laura is a generational knitter from the North Shore, learning from her Grandmother when very young. An avid knitting podcast watcher she loves learning about new independent dyers, techniques and fun projects! She would get more WIPS done (works in progress) if she could get off Ravelry and Instagram where she dreams of her next projects. She is eager to hear about your next project, so stop by and let her help enable your knitting knowledge and your stash!

 Rebecca G. – teacher

Rebecca Glazier teachers knitting, crochet and natural dyeing classes and workshops at Baaad Anna’s.  Not only is Rebecca one of our teachers, she is also the dyer behind WildWestDye yarns, a knitwear designer, the host of the Meet Up virtual knitting group Knit 1 Tea 1, a pole dancing enthusiast, and an all around awesome human being. Rebecca began teaching at Baaad Anna’s in early 2020 and teaches a broad range of beginner to intermediate classes.

Holli Y. – teacher

Holli has been a long-time teacher at Baaad Anna’s, first teaching specialty workshops and now teaching more regularly on beyond beginner and advanced topics. Her focus on fine craftsmanship, teaching skills that enable knitters to feel pride in their finished objects, and helping knitters deepen their understanding of the choices they making in their projects are just some of the reasons students love Holli’s classes.

  1. Hi there, I have all kinds of sewing & crafting materials I would like to donate. Where exactly is your community donation library in the Renfrew neighborhood?
    Thanks!
    Rimka

    1. You can make donations at the store in our regular store hours and we will distribute them amongst the libraries, or you can find a map of all of the Fibre Library locations on our baaadannas.com front page (look for link to ‘Fibre Libraries map’. THANK YOU!
