Coming Up:
Step into spring by stitching a bright cherry blossom sampler. In this beginner’s embroidery class you’ll learn the basic stitches needed to create a cherry blossom wreath inspired by the many beautiful trees that adorn Vancouver streets each spring.
The stitches you’ll learn in this class are:
- Back Stitch
- Whipped Back Stitch
- Satin Leaf Stitch
- French Knot
- Lazy Daisy + Straight Stitch
The following materials are included! Each participant will receive the following:
- 6″ Embroidery Hoop, Linen and Embroidery Paper.
- 2 x Embroidery Needles #3 & #5
- Assorted Embroidery Floss
- Written and illustrated instructions
Materials Needed:(not included)
- Embroidery (small) scissors
- Pen
DATE: Saturday, March 14th from 2:00-5:00 pm.
COST: $65 (+tax) Includes materials.
Minimum 3 and maximum 8 participants.
Refunds or Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone, email or in person at least 72 hours in advance of the class or workshop.
We request you do not attend the class if you are feeling unwell, please note, partial class refund is not available, and the 72 hour cancellation policy applies.

Leah is a textile artist and proud crazy cat lady. She is a strong advocate for creating inclusive communities and connection through art. She loves the endless possibilities textile arts offers and encourages her students to enjoy the experimentation process.
