Its a perfect weekend to get cozy with your knits for the World Wide Knit In Public Day happening tomorrow!

There will be an impromptu Vancouver event for Worldwide Knit In Public Day happening tomorrow from noon to 3:00pm downtown at Nelson Park (Comox and Thurlow) which will coincide with the beautiful West End Farmers Market; find out more details here.

And to encourage all the knits, we will have EVERYTHING IN STORE at 10% off for all of our regular Saturday hours of 11am-6pm! Pick up some Wollmeise, Skein, Hue Loco Backyard Chickens, Lykke, Yarn Enabler, Sarah Elizabeth Fibre Arts and all the other lovelies you’ve been eyeing and then go out and spread the love of knitting in celebration of WWKIP!

Our couch is always available for a meetup with friends, or go chat up non-knitters with the siren call of pretty yarn art!

We will also be hosting our monthly Give Back Sundays knit-for-others event this weekend. We have been quietly adding to our newest collection for our Modular Housing Welcome Package project so if you want to pick up some free donated yarn to cast on a pair and help out, please pop in any time this weekend or join us to knit or crochet from 1-3pm this Sunday!
