Janice has been diligently working on a beautiful pair of socks using the exquisite Perfect Pair yarn by Entre Sœurs et Laine in Récolte. This delightful set features an 80/20 blend of luxurious merino and sturdy nylon in a fingering-weight yarn, promising cozy warmth and durability with every stitch. But there’s more! The yarn’s luxurious texture and vibrant colors have added a touch of magic to her project, making it a true delight to behold. But it’s not just the yarn that makes Janice’s socks extraordinary – it’s also the pattern she chose: the “Top Toe Up” design by local teacher Holli Yeoh.

As the name suggests, Top Toe Up socks are worked from the toe to the cuff, allowing knitters to master the art of constructing socks in a unique and innovative way. Holli Yeoh’s pattern introduces knitters to essential techniques such as the Turkish cast on, grafting on the needles, and a stretchy sewn bind off – skills that elevate any knitter’s expertise.
