Kids Class! Learn to Needle Felt
JULY DATE: Monday, July 21st from 9:30-11:00am
AUG DATE: Thursday, Aug 28th from 9:30-11:00am

Needle felting is a quick and fun way to create three dimensional fibre art pieces. Mel has years of experience working with all ages and will teach teach the basics of needle felting in a colourful, creative and playful workshop.
Prerequisites: None; this class is intended for kids between the ages of 7-14; bring a friend!
All Materials Included: Includes fibre roving for a project, felting needle and felting foam block to keep.

Mel is a natural ambassador for felting, touting portability as one of its greatest assets, as well as the fact that it’s suitable for broad ranges of age and ability. She takes her felting with her wherever she goes and finds it an easy conversation starter and way to connect with people.

Kids Class! Learn to Wet Felt
JULY DATE: Monday, July 7th from 9:30-11:00am
AUG DATE: Thursday, Aug 14th from 9:30-11:00am

This workshop will teach the basics of the practical art of wet felting in which you will create a felted bar of soap. Why felt a bar of soap? Because it is a built-in washcloth, the wool is gently exfoliating, and felted soaps last longer and lather better than their ‘naked’ counterparts.
This is a fun and colourful workshop with warm soapy water.
