The Countdown is On
Happy hygge November! With such a wonderful and unique all hallow’s eve in the books, we now look ahead to the whirlwind countdown that is the upcoming holiday season.
Iron Dog Books, The Learnary and Baaad Anna’s is joining forces in encouraging all of our visitors to start thinking ahead and planning their holiday shopping early and possibly online (or by phone with curbside pickup) as we try to stay kind, stay calm, and stay safe.
This last week we opened our full shop for browsing, and this week we finalize our ongoing new hours as follows:
Mon to Wed: 11am-2pm
Thurs to Sun: 11am-6pm
Please note we have a store occupancy and 15 minute browsing maximums so please plan your visit with patience and thoughtfulness. We recommend coming in with patterns already as our staff are limited within how much they can offer project planning help; and in terms of safety, they are not handling customer’s phones or WIPs. These are different times, but the safety of our staff and fellow customers is our prime concern. Our eStore at www.baaadannas.store has almost the entirety of our stock and inventory numbers visible to make online shopping as seamless as possible; and if you are coming to pick up an online order give us a phone call if there is a line outside and we will do our best to get you your package quickly and safely.
November is also a time to start thinking about trying your hand on a new skill and our project-based classes will give you an opportunity to handmake a present in time for the gift-giving season. Check out our variety of great class and skill-building options available through our online Zoom based classes HERE.
Lastly, if you want one of our 12 Days of Knitmas Advent countdowns for a gift to self or the fibre artist in your life, we only have 10 left! Pick yours up before it is too late. This year’s calendar includes a full-sized indie skein, a couple of complete kits of fibre arts projects and quality notions (some that are custom designed and only available in the advent!) that are always a great addition to your maker’s toolbox.
Happy November! Bring it on!
