We’ve arrived back at the most gift-giving time of the year and Baaad Anna’s has put together a little gift guide for you. This gift guide is for fibre-lovers, crocheters, knitters and yarn-enthusiasts! If that describes you, feel free to forward this list to someone who might need some help with a few ideas! Or… you know… in case you want to grab yourself a holiday gift!

The first one is easy: YARN! Of course! Yarn, yarn, glorious yarn! We’ve got some new luxury yarn in store from La Bien Aimee. Any of these skeins would make a perfect show stopping gift for your fiber-lover. We’ve also started carrying many different sock yarns from Entre Souers et Laine, lovely hand-dyed sock yarn from Quebec. If you’ve got a loved one who loves yarn and birding (the center of that venn diagram is huge!) we stock bird-themed yarn from Songbird Yarn and Fibres. Pick out a skein that matches a bird you know they love, pair that with a bird-themed stitch marker set, and you’ll be good to go!

Even though knitting is my primary craft of choice, I love to dabble in all the other fibre arts too. Sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone for that creative spark to hit! We’ve got so many kits for non-yarn-related crafts in store, like felting or macrame and even basket making, but my favourite for gift-giving are these mini cross stitch kits from Cotton Clara. They’re small enough to be done in an afternoon, even for a beginner, and the actual act of cross-stitching is so calming.
