What is the BAYS staff working on this spring?
Spring projects are in full swing over here at Baaad Anna’s! We’re going to use the term “spring” loosely, yarn slingers are the same as the general population: we finish sweaters in June and summer tops in late August just like the rest of you. Let’s take a look at what some of the Baaadies are working on this spring…

Courtney might be the only seasonally appropriate knitter because she’s making a Tip Top Tank by Emily Bolduan. This pattern rocks because it’s completely free, and there’s so many different mods of it out there. The pattern calls for a sport weight yarn, but Court is getting away with our BC Garn Allino in a cheery purple colour. She’s on track to actually finish and wear the shirt this summer!

Janice recently finished a really sweet Satawal Tee by Midori Hirose. I always love seeing what Janice makes, her knits are so cohesive and in line with her whole vibe. She knows what she likes and her style really shines through. She used one of our newer linen/wool bases from Yarn Indulgences in the colour way “Kelp” (….even the name of the colourway is so “Janice”!)

Sarah is putting the finishing touches on her Diaphanous Raglan by Jessie Mead Designs. I remember thinking, when this pattern came out, that it was the perfect “fairy frolicking in the garden” shirt. It has the prettiest sleeves! She’s working it up in our La Bien Amiee Sport, in the most fantastic colour “Tang.” Sarah always has something colourful on her needles!

Emily is cruising through a pair of Rapunzel Socks from the 52 Weeks of Socks Book. She’s working her way through the book and having a lot of fun doing it. These particular ones are so sweet and girlie! They look like the kind of sock you would want to wear while reading the Secret Garden, the perfect spring sock!
We’re feeling the fresh, springtime energy over here at Baaad Anna’s, and hope you are too! What is inspiring you this spring? What are you working on?
