New Year’s Resolution KAL!
Starting tomorrow I will be tracking the year in colour! Inspired by Kristen Cooper’s pattern on Ravelry entitled My Year in Temperature, and wanting to find the perfect project for Sweet Georgia’s rainbow bright Party of Five sets, I will start a year long study of the climate of East Vancouver.
I will be posting a project page with a redistribution of temperature increments to better represent the local climate range, for each of the ten colours, dividing each month with this soft gray in Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock in the colourway called Silver.
If anyone wants to join me, I’d love to host a knit-a-long (KAL). I will post more details in the coming month, and you can join in anytime. I’ll offer a $25 gift certificate draw on January 15th, 2016 for anyone who finishes a Canadian-based Temperature Scarf from any yarn sold at Baaad Anna’s. The best thing about it is that you can knit this month by month, or start and finish it in the last weeks of the year.
That’s my only New Year’s resolution… I like to keep is simple and sweet. Sweet, sweet Georgia! Happy new year to all and hope you have a safe night!
Fantastic! I’m in!
