Crafted seamlessly from the top down in the round, the short rows enhance the fit and grace the back neck, while lace and bobble details add a touch of sweetness. The magic of this pattern lies in its adaptability; the length of the body and sleeves is yours to customize. And if cardigans are more your style, there’s even a version to explore!

For this particular masterpiece, our staff member chose our new Mailles à Part Nuage d’alpaga – a lace-weight yarn made of brushed baby Suri alpaca with a mulberry silk core. This gem is a dream for those sensitive to mohair, providing a bit more thickness while maintaining the luxurious softness. Hand-dyed in Quebec, Canada, this yarn is a visual and tactile delight, offering a palette of muted elegance that creates an incredibly soft and lightweight fabric. The pattern’s flexibility allows for experimentation with various yarn weights, making it a playground for creative exploration.

Specifications of Mailles à Part Nuage d’alpaga:

Fibres: 74% Suri Alpaca / 26% Mulberry Silk
Gauge: 18 – 24 stitches = 10 cm (4 inches)
Needles: 3.5 – 6 mm (US 4 – 10)
Weight: Lace (0)
Length: 50 g / 300 m (328 yards)

In the hands of our skilled knitter, this yarn transforms into a canvas of artistry. Join us on this WIP Wednesday journey and stay tuned for the breathtaking reveal of the Tutka Pullover – a harmonious blend of pattern, yarn, and creative expression.
