Today’s topic: Seeing doubles

Again I have gone on a binge of duplicating the same knit over and over again; this time for two match pairs of socks… that’s right 4 almost identical socks so Rebecca and I could have a matching pair to celebrate Baaad Rabbit’s 2nd Anniversary!

For the second year in a row we have ordered a limited edition custom Baaad Rabbit colourway yarn focused on the teal, coral and yellow colourways we love so much. Ancient Arts was chosen for their talented ability to balance splashes of colour with sprinkle dyed highlights, and we chose their unique Little Nettle Soft base which we will be bringing in soon in a wide selection of colours to our lovely Rabbity sister store.

With these four socks, I have completed my 17th project for my #baaad24in24 and I was thrilled with the completion of my first pair as it broke my summer of no FOs streak that I seemed to be on! Let the FOs races commence! Next up, a little a holiday gift knitting is in the works and I have to admit I am loving this easy-win smaller projects that let me bask in the finish-object afterglow!
