Yarn Auction Sneak Peeks

If you read about our upcoming Yarn Auction here, now you can check out the wealth of options we will be offering this Saturday when we launch our Yarn Auction benefitting Aunt Leah’s Place… this is only a selection of the 30 lots going up for auction from a legacy donation we received in our Upcycling Program.
We aim to get upcycled fibre arts into the hands of people who will get the best use of the different types of donations we have. Yarn ends go to schools for kids to play with string, large quantities of acrylic goes to charity blanket knitters, mid- and nicer yarns go to our Fibre Library networks and Yarn Swap, but this donation really deserves to go into hands that will appreciate and get immediate use out of it, so I am choosing to offer these in exchange for donations made directly to benefit a local non-profit; and in fact, so local it resides on the same block as our sister store!
Check in over the next week to see what is on offer, and join in with some generous charity support. There is something for all budgets! These will be for local pick-up ONLY however if you want to participate you can always win an auction item and donate it to our next Yarn Swap happening at our sister store Baaad Rabbit Fibre Arts in New West on Sept 13th!
