Our sale shelves are currently full of yarns that are more than deserving of a second look  beautiful fibres  and plenty of potential for your next cast-on. Here are a few of our favourite pairings.

Cascade 220 BFL DK

100% Bluefaced Leicester Wool | DK | 262 yards / 100g

If you love a good woolly DK, this one is worth grabbing while it’s on sale. Cascade BFL is made from 100% Bluefaced Leicester wool, a fibre known for its softness, beautiful stitch definition and lovely drape. With 262 yards in a 100g skein and a gauge of around 22 to 24 stitches per 4″, it’s a seriously useful weight for everything from colourwork sweaters to cozy accessories.

It’s delicate, wearable and a little bit romantic  and a lovely way to put a laceweight yarn to work. Just 2 skeins and hold with 1 skein of a lovely DK.

If you’re looking for something less intimidating, The World’s Simplest Mittens are, as promised, pretty straightforward.
