This year we could all use a story to lift our spirits, so I just want to share this great example of community action and commitment. We are truly stronger together.

Surrey couple posts an ad on Craigslist to spread some holiday cheer.

I came across this news article earlier this week and reached out to Joanna to offer our Warm Things Drive donated hand knits for each of the recipients for their holiday hampers. She shared that the number of requests for help outnumbered her expectations, but they are doing what they can to help as many people as possible that have reached out to identify themselves in need. It is truly heartwarming to see that we are one of a number of groups and individuals that have offered to partner on this great grassroots initiative. Happy December!
