2022 Resolutions: Beginner Fibre Arts

The new year is a great chance to try a different fibre art! As January comes to a close, we want to show some love for these beginner friendly fibre arts kits. Read below for all the amazing kits we’re carrying this year…

Macramé

A 2021 trending craft, macramé offers a simple decor or furnishing to brighten up any space! Whether using simple wrapping, like with the Rosemade Kits, or intuitive knotting, like with the Seawoven Plant Hanger Kits, macramé is a fun craft with a colorful look.

Or follow your own crafty creations! Our business card holder is a perfect example of Estelle’s Macramé Braid and a macrame ring to make a cute wall hanging with a purpose.

Felting

The possibilities for needle felting are endless with a full rainbow of corriedale wool roving! Don’t know where to start? Try our menagerie of felted animal kits from Ashford and Estelle.

Needle felting is perfect for ANY AGE group, even as early as kindergarten. With mindful formation of loose wool into any shape, this craft lets creativity flow and is great for letting go of stress!

Cross Stitch/ Embroidery/ Needle Punch

Do you enjoy working with fine details? Try a hooped fibre art! Watch as these beginner friendly kits become beautiful works of art.

We are especially excited to carry Angiels Art Embroidery’s newest kit, the Vancouver Pacific Sunset!

All of these kits come with step-by-step instructions, and will keep you occupied for many relaxing hours.

For a more wrist-sensitive craft, needle punch offers a more comfortable alternative. With a needle punch tool, there is more to grip on, and less pressure on the wrists as you create loops through your fabric.
