Our fourth and final care package is now heading out to the border town of Przemysl, Poland in hopes of being distributed to refugees in need. Although the need for handknits may be coming to an end for warmer season, these will be directed to a monastery that will be able to hand them out when and to whom as appropriate. And with it will come the gesture of care to remind these people on the other side of the globe that we are all connected. 

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project. Whatever handknits did not fit in this final care package will be added to our Warm Things Campaign in the fall for distribution amongst local at-risk groups. Not only will they warm the heads and hands of their recipients, but these incredibly thoughtful donations have also warmed my heart as well.
