Only five more days until Knit City! Today’s Sneak Peak comes from an Indie dyer in Ontario, Canada– Leo & Roxy.

In preparation for Knit City weekend, one of our staff knit up a gorgeous sample to display at our Marketplace booth.

Overthrow Wrap Kit

The shawl is the Overthrow Wrap by Joji Locatelli.

Kit includes:
1 – 50g skein of 80/20 Sock
5 skeins of Mohair/Silk, 1 of each colour
Pattern not included.

Here’s what Sarah had to say about this knit:

It is a surprisingly chill knit even though it has double held mohair brioche. The pattern is quite straightforward so for the most part I could knit it anywhere

The Leo and Roxy is sooooo soft and the colours are gorgeous. There are different kits and I am tempted to knit it again in a different colour combo which is wild because I generally don’t like knitting the same thing twice.

The pattern calls for every last meter of mohair colour 4 so the leo & roxy kit recommends doing 2 rows less on the last two sections of that colour but my gauge was a little tighter so I managed to get in all the rows (there is a note on the kit about this).
