Fibre library updates
Hello, baaadies!
I have some wonderful updates for our amazing community. As we continue to grow and spread the joy of fibre arts, I’m thrilled to share with you all the opening of two new libraries!
The first is a new Fibre Library at 4312 Georgia St, Burnaby, is now open! You can’t miss the bright green and orange house, filled with a treasure trove of yarns, threads, and all things fibre. And don’t forget to check out our Little Free Library for books while you’re there!
Follow @greenhouse_booknook on instagram to stay updated on new arrivals and updates. Your support and involvement make all the difference.
The next is a fibre library – Saturna Yarn Barn, located at 140 East Point Road, Saturna Island, BC V0N 2Y0.
If there are any woodworkers interested in building another fibre library for someone else to house. Your skills could help us expand our network and bring the joy of fibre arts to even more people.
Our first fibre library near Science World/Athletes Village was a beautiful collaboration. Originally donated when its first owner could no longer house it, it found a new home through the generous responses to our call for a new location. Let’s create another success story together!
check out out fibre library resource page HERE for grants, yarn supply and box construction information.
Let’s continue to build and nurture our creative community. If you’re interested in helping out or have any ideas, feel free to reach out. Together, we can make more spaces for creativity and connection.
We all have a hand in strengthening the Fibre Arts community.
