As promised, a few more details about our 10th birthday celebrations!

Baaad Anna’s is turning 10-years old, and to celebrate we’re holding 10 days of events, contests, and sales during the month of August. From August 15-24 we invite you, our loyal customers and friends, to participate in our birthday festivities — grab some of your favourite yarn on sale, show off a past project, knit-a-long with us, and maybe win a prize!

EVENTS & CONTESTS

Our birthday celebrations launch with a call for Baaad Anna’s Show & Tell Project of the Decade. We are asking our customers, friends and followers to share a project you’ve made using Baaad Anna’s yarn or fibre over the past 10 years and WIN. Your project can be any fibre art – knitting, crocheting, felting, weaving – the only criteria is that you bought the yarn at Baaad Anna’s. Three winners will be chosen from submitted projects.

Show & Tell Projects of the Decade

To enter: Between August 15-24. post your project on Instagram and tag it with #baaadannasmemories; share your project on our Ravelry thread; or bring your project into the store to be photographed and posted on Instagram.

Winning: Enter between August 15-24, 2019. Winners will be chosen by random draw from all entries made between 12:00AM August 15 and 11:59PM August 24, 2019.

Prizes include: (A) a skein of Wollmeise, (B) a Longway Homestead prize pack, and (C) a Indie Yarn prize.

Anniversary Knit-a-Long

Participate in our Anniversary Knit-a-Long and WIN! We want you to knit a project in a day. On August 19, 2019, start and finish a project, and share it with us to win a Quick Knit Prize Pack. We will be posting our own knit-a-long progress photos on our Instagram  — along with lots of encouragement throughout the day — so you’ll never be alone in your task.

To enter: Post your FINISHED object (started and completed on August 19th 2019) on Instagram and tag it with #baaadannasknitalong; or post your project on our KAL Ravelry thread.

Winning: One winner will be chosen by random draw from all entries made between 12:00AM and 11:59PM on August 19, 2019.

Anniversary Followers Contest

This one is easy! Follow us on Instagram, tag three friends, and be eligible to WIN a Wollmeise Prize Pack.

CLOSING EVENT

Anniversary Knit Night!

We will cap off the entire celebration with a special Anniversary Knit Night on Wednesday, August 28 starting at 6pm. Winners will be announced and refreshments will be served!

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning, or are new to our store, we look forward to seeing everyone as we turn 10 years old.
