Vancouver Art Gallery

Come visit our Travelling Woolery this weekend on the front lawn of the Vancouver Art Gallery for the VHS Maker’s Market!

And mark your calendars for our next few weeks of roadtrips to share the love of Fibre Arts into neighbouring communities!

What is The Travelling Woolery? Baaad Anna’s wee little fibre arts pop up shop on wheels is outfitted with an array of amazing intro-level fibre art kits from needle felting, macrame, weaving, embroidary and other easy-to-learn tactile artforms, and we have been invited to host our curated collection at local farm and art markets throughout the Lower Mainland this summer. We also share a selection of our most up-to-date indie lines with yarn-lovers that may be too far to visit our East Van store! Be sure to pop by when we are in your neighbourhoods and check us out!

Mark Your Calendars! The Travelling Woolery officially joined the Baaad Anna’s family just before the start of the pandemic but managed a few socially distant outdoor markets throughout last summer and early Fall. With sanitizer and masks in hand, we have already launched the market season and here’s our next 3 confirmed locations:

  •  VHS Maker’s Market! Saturday July 10th & Sunday July 11th, 11am-6pm (downtown Vancouver)
  • Deroche Farmer’s Market, Saturday July 17th, 10am-2pm (Mission/Harrison)
  • Shop the Block Food Truck Fest, Saturday August 14th, 11am-5pm (Brentwood Mall, Burnaby)
  • more to come, possibly at the Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market, Steveston Farm Market and if there are other markets you’d like to see us at let us (and them) know!
