September 30th is a sombre day for reflection, remembrance, learning and action. Our shop will be closed today.

On this first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation I am spending the day with my children seeing and hearing from the children that went before them.

On every day I work to listen and learn from Indigenous communities and colleagues to advance Truth and Reconciliation efforts.

I acknowledge that the land I work, live and play on is the traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and the Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Indigenous peoples have been in this land since time immemorial.
