Celebrate World Knit in Public Day with Us!
Its a perfect weekend to head to the beach or east van and start something new: the World Wide Knit In Public Day is this Saturday and we are celebrating with a sale and two gatherings to share with you.
World Knit in Public Day is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow crafters, share tips and tricks, and simply enjoy some good company in the sun. So, mark your calendars, grab your projects, and get ready for a day of fun, creativity, and community!
To make the day even more special, we’re offering a 10% in store discount on fibre if you bring a Work in Progress (WIP) and get a photo taken with it in our store. Show off your latest creation and stock up on supplies for your next project!
Join the community for a gathering at Sunset Beach on Saturday, June 8th, from 1-4 PM as we celebrate World Knit in Public Day! Whether you’re an avid knitter, crocheter, or just love to be part of a creative community, this event is for you!
In addition to the gathering at Sunset Beach, you can also join Knots and Hops East Van for Craft in Public Day at Grandview Park (Commercial Drive & Charles St.) from 1:30-3:30 PM. Everyone and all crafts are welcome! No RSVP needed. Bring a beverage and a blanket or chair to craft on the grass along with others. (Note: consumption of alcohol isn’t permitted in this park, so if that is something you chose to do, please bring a travel cup to be discreet.)
We look forward to seeing you there!
