NEW YARN: Okanagan Dye Works
Nestled deep in the Okanagan valley, among the glimmering emerald lakes, you will find the bustling city of Vernon. And there you will find a plethora of creativity and beauty, and this is where Nikki Marshall of Okanagan Dye Works finds her inspiration. Nikki has been dyeing fiber and teaching felting for the last 9 years under the name Nicklebee Art Studio. Her love of the Okanagan and her aspiration to contribute to its local art scene led her to rebrand under the new name Okanagan Dye Works and that is how we met her at this year’s Yarn Okanagan Fibre Festival.

We are excited to bring in her full range of colourways inspired by the lush and vibrant Okanagan region in preparation for Knit City this year, and are so proud to be able to represent this BC fibre art talent at next month’s show!
We have brought on her line of 3-ply sock yarn that showcases a wide variety of colors and hues that stand up to their witty and occasionally outrageous names. Her colorways are likened to and heavily inspired by the stunning views of the Okanagan, and the names can be accredited to her fantastic sense of humor and what is happening in her life at the time of inspiration.
